The Department

Our Business Change team is a dedicated team responsible for the delivery of projects aimed at driving efficiency, improving quality and enhancing value for our clients.

The role

To assist the Innovation Manager and Innovation Team with the delivery and implementation of initiatives across the firm.

  • Engaging with internal stakeholders in order to assist with understanding and developing innovation initiatives and developing a culture of innovation.
  • Engaging with clients and other relevant external stakeholders in order to assist with understanding their problems and developing solutions.
  • Assisting with running workshops/innovation sessions.
  • Assisting with external technology market research.
  • Assisting with scoping, defining, running and reporting back on proof of concepts and innovation projects.
  • Assisting with the assessment, testing and training of new technology.
  • Keeping up to date with the rapid developments in technology and client and user behaviour.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to assist handing over innovation to BAU.
  • Working with and supporting the wider business change team.
  • Working in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.

The person specification
  • Good understanding of the legal domain which may be evidenced by an undergraduate law degree or equivalent education or experience of working in a law firm.
  • Good understanding of the changing legal services market.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • An awareness and understanding of developments in technology.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to engage with users to bring ideas to life.
  • Good communicator.
  • Good IT skills.
