The Department

Our Business Change team is a dedicated team responsible for the delivery of projects aimed at driving efficiency, improving quality and enhancing value for our clients.

The role
  • Providing project management for projects / business change initiatives through the use of appropriate and agreed project management methodology.
  • Such project management will include, but is not limited to:
    • Starting up a project
    • Initiating a project
    • Controlling a stage
    • Managing product delivery
    • Managing stage boundaries
    • Closing a project   
    • Working closely with in house teams to understand the business requirement for the project.
    • Developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.
    • Defining the deliverables, resource requirements and work planning for the project and managing through to completion.
    • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
    • Managing, monitoring and motivating cross functional teams assigned to the projects
  • Working with and supporting the wider Business Change Department.

The person specification
  • Proven solid project management experience
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with project budgeting and control
  • Good “customer” facing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Proven ability to deliver projects with tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to juggle projects and resources with changing requirements and priorities
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Proven ability to support implemented processes and ensure project teams and customers adhere to these
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior management 
  • Experience of agile project management methodology
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge / certification desirable
  • Prince 2 knowledge / qualified practitioner desirable
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to engage with users to bring ideas to life.
  • Good IT skills.
