Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (3 years + PQE) to join the Employment department in our Grimsby office. 

The Firm

The Department

The specialist Employment team has over 100 years' collective experience of employment and HR matters, providing commercial pragmatic advice to employers.

The mainstay of the Employment team is based in the firm’s flagship Grimsby office and further specialist support is needed to continue to build on the growth of the team.

The Role

The Employment team advises businesses of all sizes ranging from sole traders to PLCs, across various sectors (including education, agriculture and food, public authorities and third sector) based locally, regionally and nationally.

You will be responsible for advising and supporting businesses and individuals on a range of employment issues.  You will have a high quality but varied caseload and will work closely with the Partners and other team members.

This role will suit an aspiring Solicitor who is looking to gain more responsibility and prove themselves in a very established team and Firm.   

You will need to demonstrate a track record of advising employer clients and a fundamental part of the role will involve business development and networking.

  • An ability to adopt a commercial, as well as legal approach to client issues;
