An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the Recoveries department in our Grimsby office.

The Department

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our rapidly growing, dynamic and accomplished Recoveries Department based in Grimsby.  The Department is widely regarded as a national market leader specializing in debt collection, commercial litigation and insolvency work.

The position is an integral part of the Department’s overall success.

The Role

Applicants should have previous accounts experience, ideally gained in a solicitor’s office.  You must also be able to demonstrate your ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential for this role.

The responsibilities of this role include the preparation and submission of invoices, reconciliation of funds recovered from debtors, presentation of cash reports, management of closed files and transfer of completed files to archive.

Skills Required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous Accounts experience, ideally within a solicitors office.

  • Proven ability to be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines 

  • Excellent communication and customer care skills

  • Excellent organisational and administration skills

  • Proficient user of all Microsoft packages

  • Understanding and adoption of the Firm’s values and behaviours.
