An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Post Room Assistant to join our Lincoln office.

The Role

The main responsibilities will include assisting with the overall smooth running of the office, including opening and preparing the mail and DX, assisting with stationery orders and local deliveries, as well as other general admin support tasks, which may involve some manual handling. Working within a team and on an individual basis.

Duties will include
  1. Assisting with opening the post and delivering to the relevant person as required.

  2. Using the franking machine to prepare all mail for posting. Preparing mail for Document Exchange.

  3. Filling up the printers with the appropriate paper.

  4. Keeping the kitchens tidy and stocked.

  5. Emptying confidential waste shredding bins when required.

  6. Taking all local deliveries as requested.

  7. Preparing and buying refreshments for clients as requested and set up meeting rooms.

  8. Maintaining and shopping for office supplies as and when required.

  9. Undertaking photocopying tasks when required.

  10. Ensuring the stationery cupboard is kept tidy and stock put away when delivered.

  11. Performing any other duties as requested by the Branch Partner to assist with the smooth running of the office.

Skills Required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills and attention to detail
  • IT literate
  • Understanding and adoption the Firm’s values and behaviours.
