Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Production Specialist to join the Document Production Services team (DPS). A full time person is preferred, however we would be willing to consider part time / job share.

The Role

The ideal candidate will deliver a high quality, efficient and comprehensive document production service to fee earners across all departments and locations with a focus on excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

You will work alongside a team of document production specialists utilising advanced skills to support fast, accurate and enhanced document production through effective use of the appropriate tools and innovative technology adopted by the Firm.

Duties will include

Produce all work to the highest standards of accuracy within strict deadlines, including:

  • Creating, formatting and updating a wide range of correspondence, documents, reports, emails, attachments from a variety of sources, adhering to the house style and utilising the appropriate templates and tools to ensure efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
  • Converting documents across various packages into house style using firm templates.
  • Troubleshooting textural, graphic and printing issues across all packages.
  • Accurately interpreting complex fee earner briefs and producing documents within the required timescales, seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Proofreading and quality checking all work to ensure that completed documents are delivered accurately and to an appropriate high standard.  Ensuring all edits have been inserted and make logical and grammatical sense.
  • Adhering to working practices for the function.
  • Ensuring own technical skills are maintained and updated, including developing and extensive knowledge of the firm’s document templates and practice areas.
  • Big Hand transcription.
  • Liaising with Team Leader/Fee Earners and Secretaries as appropriate in relation to document production matters and queries.
  • Effectively managing workloads to ensure all deadlines met.
Skills Required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Advanced level of skill in all MS Office packages and Liberate.
  • Intermediate experience of Nitro Pro.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise workload and work fast and accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Flexible and proactive approach.
  • Committed to personal development.
  • Compliance experience in Data Protection and GDPR.
  • Proven experience in the role of document production from a variety of sources.
  • Collaborative working within a small team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail utilising strong administrative and document production skills
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding and adopting the Firm’s values and behaviours.
