An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join the Facilities department in our Lincoln office.

The Role

The main responsibilities will include providing a professional first point of contact, both face to face and over the telephone and assisting with the overall smooth running of the office, including assisting colleagues with photocopying and assisting with the post.

The successful applicant should have excellent typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Candidates should have a polite telephone manner and excellent client care and communication skills. Previous experience in a professional environment would be beneficial. 

Duties will include
  • Answering all incoming calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate person.
  • Dealing with routine and difficult enquiries from telephone callers and visitors effectively, efficiently and professionally.
  • Conveying messages clearly, quickly and accurately.
  • Assisting extension users with such problems that may arise.
  • Signing in arrivals.
  • Obtaining signatures for all goods collected on the appropriate form.
  • Checking deliveries and signing paperwork.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance of the reception area.
  • Booking meeting rooms and informing staff of availability.
  • Other general office and administrative duties as required.

  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills and attention to detail
  • IT literate
