Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administration and Client Liaison Assistant to join our Case Administration Team based in our Doncaster Office.

The Firm

Wilkin Chapman Business Solutions Ltd is an established insolvency practice and is owned by Wilkin Chapman LLP, the largest law firm in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire providing a wide range of legal and insolvency practitioner services to both businesses and individuals.

The Role

The successful candidate will administer new cases and liaise with clients on behalf of the Insolvency Practitioners.

Duties will include
  • Taking responsibility for the initial client liaison and contact with the Directors of an insolvent company to present a professional and efficient image of the business to clients.
  • To conduct all matters in the best interests of creditors and stakeholders of the company/client and use case management system (IPS) and information technology to produce documents and correspondence as appropriate.
  • Maintaining time recording on a daily basis on IPS.
  • Regularly update the Insolvency Practitioner/Senior Manager as to the current situation of a particular company/client as requested by them.
  • Be the main point of contact for the initial liaison with the company Directors for the purpose of information gathering, collecting and collating documentation for the initial case set up and appointment of the Insolvency Practitioner as Office Holder.
  • Dealing with routine and difficult enquiries from telephone callers including directors, creditors and third parties effectively and efficiently and ensure that all enquiries and matters are dealt with both professionally and promptly to the complete satisfaction of the Insolvency Practitioner.
  • Utilise Word Processing and Computer systems to produce all documents and letters.
  • Liaise with the Insolvency Practitioners, Senior Manager and Assistant Managers regarding the progression of the case prior to after handover to the Case Administration team.
  • Update IPS when necessary to record case details and store documents.
  • Continually develop their understanding of the obligations placed on Insolvency Practitioners by Statute and requirements placed upon them by the Insolvency Practitioners Association as a Regulating Professional Body under the Insolvency Act and the Insolvency service. Assist the Insolvency Practitioners and Senior Manager in compliance with the same.
Qualifications

A Level standard or previous experience of an Administration and/or Client Liaison role.
