Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Insolvency Case Administrator to join our Case Administration Team based in our Doncaster Office.

Wilkin Chapman Business Solutions Ltd is an established insolvency practice and is owned by Wilkin Chapman LLP, one of the largest law firms in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire providing a wide range of legal and insolvency practitioner services to both businesses and individuals.

The Role

Based at our Doncaster office, and working as a member of our Case Administration team, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Insolvency Case Administrator. The role will include full training and development to build a professional career in the Insolvency sector.

Duties will include
  • Full training in relation to all aspects of the role will be provided by colleagues, managers and Insolvency Practitioners/Directors.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of the day to day administration of a portfolio of insolvency cases.
  • Reporting directly to a Senior Administrator and/or Assistant Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory and best practice provisions;
  • Operating and updating case management, and other software;
  • Liaising directly with directors, debtors and creditors;
  • Completing appropriate banking and cheque request forms, to ensure that estate monies are handled correctly;
  • Participating in internal and external training sessions as required;
  • Dealing with routine and difficult enquiries from telephone callers;
  • Accurately recording work activities and time spent in case records.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level or Degree standard and may suit those with a business studies, finance or legal background. Candidates with AAT level 2/3 qualification would also be desirable.
