The Role

Based in our Grimsby Office, and working as a member of the Cashier Team, we are looking to recruit an Experienced Cashier.

Duties will include
  1. Make Debit/Credits on client/office accounts
  2. Post various financial transactions on a daily basis onto the computer system
  3. Provide a cashiering service in reception, dealing with routine enquires
  4. Dealing with clients on the telephone when paying their bill by card payment
  5. Create New Clients on the computer system
  6. Process payments through our Bankline systems
  7. Check and process Vat Invoices on our computer system
  8. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Head of Finance/Head Cashier Manager
  9. File all accounts documents
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate for this position will have GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
Skills Required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Accurate key board skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability of meeting deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills.
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts rules useful but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Experience working within an office environment.
  • Understanding and adopting the Firm’s values and behaviours.
