Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Property Assistants to join our rapidly growing and accomplished Commercial Property and Housebuilder Team based in Grimsby.

The Department

Our new build house builder team works for a national client base and prides itself on providing cost effective plot sales service using our bespoke IT infrastructure. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring assistant to join a vibrant and established new build team.

The Role

The successful candidates will provide administrative support for private individuals and housebuilders in new build conveyancing matters.

Duties will include
  1. Using the Case Management System for all cases.
  2. Setting up new matters on the IT system, issuing contracts and submitting property searches.
  3. Updating the Case Management System as the matter progresses, inputting the relevant data onto the system.  Sending out automated letters and forms as prompted by the system.
  4. Dealing with routine telephone calls and emails from clients, agents and Solicitors effectively and efficiently.
  5. Preparing accounts and completion statements on part-exchange and domestic property files.
  6. Sending relevant documents to building societies/banks/clients on completion of property matters.
  7. Using IT system to archive files and schedule deeds for storage.
  8. Ensuring quality of work is produced to the highest standard.
  9. Conducting all matters in the client's best interest and in accordance with the highest professional standards and applicable 'quality' standards at all times.
  10. Supporting the efforts of the team to achieve financial targets for the Firm and sales targets for housebuilder clients.
Skills Required

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisation and administration skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Excellent attention to detail .
  • A proven ability to be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Understanding and adopting the Firm’s values and behaviours.

Whilst not essential experience in property administration will be an advantage.
