Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor or Fixed Share Partner (4 years+ PQE) to join our Regulatory department.

The Department

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established Regulatory team who provide expert advice on a wide range of services for local authorities, academy trusts, NHS, commercial and non profit bodies and undertake high profile and complex investigations

The successful candidate will work alongside a highly regarded national specialist in this field on a broad range of regulatory matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will ideally be based in Grimsby, but our Lincoln and Beverley offices would also be considered.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solicitor or Fixed Share Partner with a broad range of knowledge and a proven track record of working with or for public sector bodies, to include experience of:

  • Information governance
  • Local authority governance and standards
  • Regulatory, investigation and disciplinary matters

You will have a high quality but varied caseload and will work closely with the Partner and other team members in a collaborative environment. 

This role has opportunities for partial remote/flexible working, with expectation to attend the office or client premises, as and when required for business need.

Duties will include
  • Conducting all matters in the client's best interest and in accordance with the highest professional standards and applicable "quality" standards at all times.
  • Regularly updating clients as to the current progress of their case.
  • Participating in/contributing to business development and networking activities.
  • Understanding the obligations relating to client accounts and ensure the preparation and service of bills comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Achieving financial targets agreed with the Department Head.
Qualifications
  • Solicitors with 4 years+ post qualification experience.
  • Barristers with a similar level of experience will also be considered.
  • Advocacy experience before tribunals or internal  panel hearings is welcomed.
